Hero Electric launches electric scooter ‘Flash’

Hero Electric yesterday launched an electric scooter 'Flash', that comes with a 250 watt motor and a range of 65 km per charge. The two-wheeler is priced at Rs19,990 (ex-showroom Delhi).

''With Flash, we are moving further ahead with our vision of making India an electrically mobile nation. Flash is the epitome of the latest and the best of technology available in the e-automobile sphere,'' Hero Electric Global CEO, Sohinder Gill said in a statement.

The model, which weighs 87 kg comes with alloy wheels, telescopic suspension and a full body crash guard.

The company which is a pioneer and market leader in the Indian electric two-wheeler industry operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Ludhiana and corporate office at Delhi.

The company says it entered the electric two-wheeler segment after 12 years of extensive research in the EV segment with its wide range of electric two-wheelers.

It said its Hero Electric is the market leader in the category with a strong network of over 300 exclusive sales and service outlets across the country and was leading a revolution in electric mobility with over 1 lakh customers.

On the aesthetics front, the Hero Flash electric scooter matches most conventional models in design. With the slender design it is visibly smaller than most scooters while a massive headlamp cluster stands out at the front. The e-scooter comes with a useable under-seat storage compartment.
