Hinduja Global Solutions to acquire most of Mphasis’ India domestic BPM business

Hinduja Global Solutions Limited (HGS) today said it had signed definitive agreement to acquire a significant portion of the domestic business of IT services provider Mphasis Group.
The acquiition is subject to regulatory approvals.
Upon completion, the acquisition will strengthen the presence in India of HGS by adding newer service capabilities and clients in the telecom and banking and financial services
verticals while bringing in over 7,000 customer experience professionals.
The addition of seven Mphasis delivery centers across six cities – Noida, Raipur, Indore, Mangalore, Pune and Bangalore - will help HGS gain a stronger delivery footprint in the country.
