Hughes Communications unveils new tariff plans for VPN Services

Bangalore: Hughes Communications India Ltd., today introduced its new Enterprise tariff plans for VPN Service under the HughesNet managed services portfolio. The newly introduced Service plans look to provide a one stop solution for all connectivity needs, better manageability and quality for the distributed enterprise.

Gauging the need for affordable, quality and reliable connectivity HughesNet released its suite of fully managed VPN services with high performance and reliable IP based connectivity at all locations through its satellite network. Hughes is the first to have Implemented DVBS2 ACM (Adaptive Code and Modulation) in their network which ensures very high uptime and high speed plans at affordable price points. The typical price per annum for VPN plans are provided in table1.
HughesNet is offering 99.5% network availability as compared to the industry norm of 98.5% due to the advantage of an improved satellite network. Further, the company offers 100% coverage across the country and deployment within a two week period, which is unique and required by companies with distributed operations.
These newly launched VPN Service plans are built on new generation satellite modems geared to provide MPLS grade (QOS), very high Uptime, with IPSEC implementation for security, SNMP Enabled, Integrated with FCAPS software and are available to the customers on both – the terrestrial as well as the satellite network with same performance metrics.
