ICICI Prudential Life ropes in Amitabh Bachchan as brand ambassador

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has signed Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan as its brand ambassador.
A first celebrity signing for the company, Madhivanan Balakrishnan, executive director, ICICI Prudential Life, said, ''We believe that there are strong synergies in our brand values and those embodied by Amitabh Bachchan and that makes him a natural choice to represent our brand.''
Bachchan will feature in a series of advertisements for the life insurance firm, which are part of the 360-degree multimedia campaign, comprising print, electronic and online media for the brand.
''In my life I have seen that I have been able to deliver my best as an actor when I have felt secure and confident. I see life insurance as a product which offers that same feeling of reassurance to people who opt for it,'' said Bachchan on being appointed the brand ambassador.
