Infosys to open centre in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The fledgling software industry in Kerala has got a shot in the arm as Infosys Technologies, an information technology (IT) consulting and software services provider, has decided to start a development centre in the Technopark campus here.

The proposed centre will be housed in the Bhavani block.

According to Infosys, the 55,800-sq ft centre will initially have 50 software professionals and the ramp-up will happen two or three years later.

Infosys has development centres in Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Mysore, Mohali and Pune.
