Jupiter launches Frontech Gold keyboard

New Delhi: Jupiter Infosys Ltd (JIL), one of the largest distributors of international IT brands in India, has launched Frontech Gold Smart Office keyboard.

Smart office keyboard is a new concept that minimises the use of mouse and extracts maximum result at the minimum possible effort as well as time. The keyboard comes with hot key features enabling one-touch access to various commands. The clipboard pad, which has one-touch access for commands like forward, backward, cut, copy, paste, scroll devices and other keys, makes work easier and simpler.

The office keys and enhanced function keys provide one-touch access to the MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerPoint, and Calendar. There are also eight Internet hot keys (www, email, my favourite, stop, search, refresh, back and forward), which help in quick access to the Internet and email in a much convenient way.

There are also six multimedia hot keys, which will give one-touch access to all CD player functions that include volume up and down, mute, stop, play and pause, previous track and next track.

Among other features there are some application keys such as log-off key, which will let you log off with a single stroke of a key; calculator key for quick calculation; power key for one-touch access to power on and off of the desktop system; sleep key to put the computer into ‘sleep’ mode, protecting the data and saving energy; and my computer for daily applications.

This product is fully compatible with Windows XP and all earlier versions, such as Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows NT 4.0.

The smart look makes the keyboard more exciting to work with and the improved interaction of mouse and keyboard thereby saves 70 per cent usage of mouse and also reducing 20 per cent of typing time. The keyboard is priced at Rs2,000 (MRP).
