New Delhi: Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK) has appointed Kevin J Hobert as president of the company's 'health group' and senior vice president, Eastman Kodak Company, effective immediately. He will report to Antonio M. Perez, Kodak's president and Chief Operating Officer.
Hobert, 40, was general manager, 'digital capture systems' and vice president of Kodak's health group, replaces Daniel Kerpelman, 46, who is leaving the company to become chief executive officer of a leading publicly traded global services company headquartered in Europe.
Under his leadership, Kodak's computed radiography business has achieved the number two position worldwide and it recently secured FDA approval for its innovative mammography computer-aided detection device.
Prior to joining Kodak in 2002, Hobert, a B.S. in physics from the University of Wisconsin, was with General Electric Medical Systems (GEMS), a division of GE.
