Laser Soft to take 200 software professionals

Chennai: Laser Soft Infosystems Ltd, a Chennai-based banking software company, closed fiscal March 2002 with a revenue of Rs 15.84 crore and a net profit of Rs 2.77 crore. One of the banking software companies in the field, Laser Soft has 25 products serving 21 banks in India and abroad.

Laser Soft CMD B Suresh Kamath says his company has exported banking products valued at Rs 4.63 crore. We have an order position of Rs 20 crore and projects revenues of Rs 36 crore for the current year. Exports are expected to make a quantum jump to Rs 15 crore this year.

The 450-employee company plans to hire 200 more this year to complete the orders on hand and the expected growth.
