Maruti reports 9.7 per cent rise in December sales

Maruti Suzuki has announced its December sales have risen by 9.7 per cent to 62,515 units in the month of December 2007, up from 56,985 passenger vehicles in December 2006.
Domestic sales were 58,401 units and exports at 4,114 vehicles. The sales figures for December 2007 are:
* SX4 launched in May 2007, Grand Vitara launched in July 2007, Baleno figures are for 2006
