Maruti Suzuki launches Alto 800 at Rs2.44 lakh

Car market leader Maruti Suzuki today launched its mass-market model Alto in an all-new form, 'Alto 800'. The new Alto 800 sports a fresh look, is roomier, and is claimed to be over 15 per cent more fuel-efficient and is better ''geared'' for city conditions.
Alto 800, priced between Rs2,44,000 and Rs3,56,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), is available in six colours and three petrol and CNG variants.
The petrol version promises a mileage of 22.74 km per litre and the CNG version 30.460km per kg.

Alto 800 is being manufactured at the company's Gurgaon facility and will be available in 3 petrol variants and 3 factory fitted CNG variants.
