Microsoft working on ‘no touch’ technology

Tech giant Microsoft is working on next generation technology that would allow operation of gadgets from a distance, without the need to swipe or touch them.
The 'no-touch' technology would let users control a screen with their fingers even from the other side of the room and put their hands through a screen to 'touch' objects, according to the report.
According to Microsoft, it had begun to create machines that moved far beyond touchscreens.
Rico Malvar, Microsoft's chief scientist, said work had started on new screens that could be manipulated without needing to approach a gadget.
