Mini to launch special Olympics editions

The British automaker Mini has in a recent announcement said it would launch two special editions of its models, named the Mini Baker Street and the Mini Bayswater, in celebration of the sponsorship of the 2012 Olympics.
According to the car manufacturer, the Mini Baker Street, named after the famed street from Sherlock Holmes, would be available for order in either Cooper, Cooper D, One or One D versions.
The car would be offered with some special bonnet stripes, gloss black mirror housings and gloss black 16 inch alloy rims. The model will come as standard in Rooftop Grey, while the Pepper White and Midnight colors would be available as options.
Next special model to celebrate the 2012 London Olympics is the MINI Bayswater, which takes its name from the London district between Notting Hill and Knightsbridge.
The Mini Bayswater is available in either Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S or Cooper SD models and it would be on offer in an exclusive Kite Blue paint finish, a black roof, sports stripes on the bonnet, black striped exterior mirrors and 17 inch gloss black alloy wheels. Colour options for the model include the Eclipse Grey and the Midnight Black.
According to the company the Mini Baker Street would have a starting price of £16,365, while the Bayswater will start at £18,565.
The two new cars are based on the well known three-door hatch would be available across the world.
