MRPL, Ashok Leyland Projects set up non fuel JV

Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd and Ashok Leyland project
Services Ltd (ALPS) will set up a joint venture with 45
per cent equity holding each and the remaining 10 per
cent with financial institutions to provide non-fuel activity
support to MRPL''s retail outlets..
The joint venture will put up facilities such as trucking
centre, vehicle repair, and auto parts, resting and eating
facilities for travellers and truckers, convenience stores,
communication centres, ATMs and other such facilities.
These will be managed by the proposed joint venture company. The retail outlets will be provided exclusively under MRPL''s logo and control.
The
new venture will have its registered office at Chennai.
