Nokia launches N86 8MP smartphone

Nokia has entered the high-mega pixel mobile phone race with its 8 mega pixel N-series mobile phone, N 86. The mobile phone major recently launched its latest offering in the Indian market.
According to media reports, the smartphone is a 2-way slide dual-mode mobile computer that supports WCDMA/HSDPA, EGSM and WLAN. The new phone allows users to enjoy videos, music and graphics on the 2.6'' Active Matrix OLED display and orientation sensor.
With the launch of the N86 8MP, Nokia has taken on the likes of Sony Ericsson and Samsung in the high-end camera phone space in India.
The N86 8MP packs several advanced features including Flash lite 3.1, USB charging with simultaneous data transfer and UPnP and TV out. The WCDMA frequencies the device supports depends on the region where it is available.
The N86 comes in a handy dual slide design that allows users to take sharp photographs of fast-moving targets thanks to its Automatic Blur Reduction capabilities. The N86 has an 8GB internal memory and features an in-built compass. It supports an integrated FM transmitter.
The trendy phone with a display of 16 million colours has a scratch-resistant glass front and a sleek metal body.
