New Delhi: Nokia announced the launch of a new handset enabled with GPS and navigation functionality. The new handset is poised to cash-in on the $30 billion Global Positioning System (GPS) market.

The features of the new handset include integrated maps, and routing and navigation that is available at the click of the one-touch navigator key. Reports indicate that global shipments of handsets equipped with GPS are expected to more than quadruple by 2011.

The Nokia 6110 comes pre-installed with maps of eight Indian cities, which include Delhi & the NCR, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Additionally, users have the option to download maps of over 150 countries.
