OM Kotak Mahindra appoints Karan Bhalla as vice president

joining OM Kotak, Bhalla was general manager and head
of branch banking at Standard Chartered Bank, and was
a key member of the senior management involved in the
smooth merger of ANZ Grindlays with Standard Chartered
Bank. He is a chartered accountant with over 22 years
of extensive experience in consumer banking.
OM Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance is a joint venture between
Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. and Old Mutual plc. a company
with 159 years experience in life insurance, is an international
financial services group listed on the London Stock Exchange
and included in the FTSE 100 list of companies, with assets
under management worth US $235 billion (as on 31 December
2003).
