Samsung Ultra Touch mobile sponsors ibibo's fashion photography initiative
02 Sep 2009
Samsung Mobile has become the sponsor of ibibo iFashion photographer. Samsung will be using the 8.0MP Samsung Ultra Touch mobile to lead this association as fashion photographers can shoot with this phone, given its superior camera performance.
Launched in 2007, ibibo is India's first entertainment and talent-based social network. It gives the young a unique platform to showcase their talent and create their own social network, while creating customised branded applications for advertisers to target the right set of audience.
Its initiative for fashion photography is fast becoming the largest fashion photography network online, with iFashion photographer entering the third season. The event enables budding fashion photographers across India the opportunity to shoot international models with the best make-up artist and stylist, under the supervision of fashion photographer, Jatin Kampani.
Samsung Ultra Touch Phone found ibibo iFashion photographer platform relevant to the product. As part of the initiative, photography enthusiasts participate by simply uploading their photos on ibibo.com, and the ibibo community votes for the photos they like best. Jatin Kampani judges the top five fashion photographers of the season, who get to win a Samsung Ultra Touch mobile each.
"Samsung Ulta Touch re-defines perfectionism in style, design and technology in full touch," says Sunil Dutt, country head, Samsung Telecom Division, Samsung India Electronics Ltd. "Through the interactive platform of this contest, we are seeking to communicate the superior multimedia features of the Samsung Ultra Touch like its embedded 8 megapixel camera with dual power LED flash and smile shot mode that ensures that customers can capture incredible photographs on this phone."
