Satyam implements SAP in a record time for Eagle Insurance, Sri Lanka

Hyderabad: Satyam Computer Services Ltd. (NYSE: SAY) has achieved one of the fastest implementations of SAP worldwide with the implementation of its customised ERP for Eagle Insurance, an insurance major in Sri Lanka.

Satyam implemented SAP for Eagle's general ledger management information taking it live successfully within a period of 7 weeks, making Eagle the first company in Sri Lanka to implement the latest version of SAP [4.7].

Sunjeewani Kotakadeniya, the Project Manager of Eagle SAP, said, "The benchmark implementation period for SAP is said to be approximately 7 to 9 months for this kind of an implementation.
