Tech Mahindra has overcome almost the last hurdle in its acquisition of Satyam Computer Services, as the company today said that it had received the crucial anti-trust approval from Germany's competition watchdog, the Federal Cartel Office.

The Pune-based Tech Mahindra still requires anti-trust clearance from the US, but this seems a formality.

It has already got clearances from the domestic bourses, according to the statement issued by Satyam.

Venturebay Consultants Pvt. Ltd, the Tech Mahindra unit, last week won a bid to acquire a majority stake in Hyderabad-based Satyam.
