New Delhi: SpiceJet, India's preferred low - frills airline has suggested its 24-hour call centre (+91987-180-3333 and 1800-180-3333) as the alternative mode for booking tickets to its passengers, in case they are finding it difficult to book tickets via the Internet.

Internet activity in India has been impacted adversely due to extensive damage to two undersea cables off Egypt's Alexandria coast on Wednesday.

SpiceJet's chief technology officer Virender Pal, in a communiqué, said that the international Internet connectivity problem is beyond anyone's control. However, anticipating a rush, SpiceJet has doubled the number of call centre executives to handle customers who are having difficulty accessing and booking on the spicejet.com website. He hoped that the problem of international Internet connectivity will soon be over.
