Standard Chartered launches Platinum Debit Card

Standard Chartered Bank, India's largest international bank announced the launch of the 'Platinum Visa Debit Card' a product designed to ensure that customers receive the maximum value from their debit card.
Customers will be entitled to all the regular Visa Platinum lifestyle benefits such as access to golf courses, exclusive holiday packages and other seasonal promotions.
In addition, the newly launched debit card has the following features:
- Complimentary Dining Plus privilege card, which entitles customers to a host of discounts at leading restaurants, hotels, resorts & pubs across India & Middle East.
- Zero Petrol Surcharge at all Petrol Pumps across India
- An enhanced daily limit of Rs. 200,000
- Protection against misuse of lost / stolen card

The card would carry an annual fee of Rs799 and is available at all locations where Standard Chartered Bank has its presence. Customers are also entitled to access 24X7 global customer assistance services. This service can be availed through the toll-free telephone numbers of the respective country in case of lost card reporting, emergency cash disbursement, travel and medical assistance.
