Taj introduces new premium hotel Vivanta at Panaji

Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces announced its new premium hotel, Vivanta at Panaji in Goa slotted in the 'upper upscale' segment.
Vivanta is Indian Hotels' fourth property in Goa and is located 28km from Dabolim airport.
The hotel, located in Panaji, addresses the needs of Goa's expanding business environment, and offers contemporary experiences for the sophisticated and cosmopolitan customer.
The name Vivanta is drawn from vivacity, vividness and 'bon vivant': an appreciation of the good things in life. It speaks of style, refinement and living life to the full. Vivanta is designed to deliver vibrant experiences; combining the charming hospitality that is the hallmark of the Taj, with a contemporary, vivacious twist.
The hotel has 170 rooms and suites with views of Panaji City and the Mandovi River, eclectic entertainment and dining options, and technological enhancements to appeal to the cosmopolitan traveller. This new age hotel .
The hotel has been designed by Hong Kong-based by interior design firm Chadha, Simbeida and Associates.
Kamat Construction's Uday Kamat, Dattaprasad Kamat and Ramesh Kamat, have entered into a management contract with Indian Hotels Company for this venture.
The group has experience in the business of construction, real estate and hospitality over almost four decades, and has 50 building projects mainly situated in Panaji, Goa to its credit.
