Tata Honeywell is now Honeywell Automation India Limited

Mumbai: Tata Honeywell Limited, a leading provider of automation and control solutions in India, will now be known as Honeywell Automation India Ltd. The new name was approved at an EGM held in Mumbai recently and has been certified as the official name of the company by the Registrar of Companies.
The company name change came after the completion of a share transfer of the Tata Group's 40.62 per cent stake to Honeywell, which now holds approximately 82 per cent of the shares, with the remainder held publicly. Harshavardhan Chitale will be the new managing director of Honeywell Automation India Limited.
