Tata Motors to launch Range Rover Evoque in India in November

Tata Motors-owned British marquee Land Rover will launch the Range Rover Evoque in the Indian market in November, the same luxury car that is being used in the latest James Bond movie, currently known only as 'Bond 23'.
The all-new Evoque is the smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient SUV that Range Rover has ever produced.
The Evoque will be launched on 4 November in India and will be available in three different and equally classy models Pure, Prestige and Dynamic. For starters, in India, the luxury SUV will be available in two body styles, the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Evoque Coupe.
The Evoque recently won the top Scottish Car of the Year 2011 title. The award came after the Land Rover Discovery 4 was voted as the best Scottish Car in 2009.
The Evoque is powered by 2.0 litre petrol and 2.2 litre turbo charged diesel engine, along with six speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifts, and four-wheel drive. The five door Evoque will be available in three different variants, while the Dynamic variant will be three door coupe only in petrol.
The Evoque Si4 petrol variant has a 2.0 litre engine in a lightweight all-aluminium unit and uses the latest direct injection technology, advanced turbocharging and twin independent variable valve timings. The engine is fitted with a 6-speed automatic transmission that has been engineered to improve fuel economy that features Drive Select, an advanced rotary gearshift with steering wheel mounted paddle controls.
