New Delhi: The list of companies launching lifetime prepaid validity cards is getting longer. Now cellular service provider Tata Indicom has launched its scheme that allows its pre-paid subscribers to receive incoming calls for life without having to recharge.
Tata Indicom's 'Non Stop Life' offer is available for a one-time charge of Rs999, according to a company statement here.
Bbundled with a handset at a starting price of Rs2,199 for the prepaid offer with a two year validity had set the ball rolling for the launch of lifetime validity cards being launched by rival service providers.
The company had enrolled one million subscribers within 45 days of the launch of the two-year prepaid cards. The company has also assured its investors that it had not lost any revenue in offering free incoming for two years.
The company is also planning to apply for national long distance (NLD) licence in January when the recently announced new licence fee of Rs2.5 crore takes effect.
