US-based CBay targets aggressive growth for Indian operations

The US based CBay Systems has drawn up aggressive growth plans for its Indian subsidiary, CBay Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd.
At the inauguration of the Company's corporate office at Godrej Industries complex in Mumbai, V. Raman Kumar, chairman and CEO of CBay Systems said, "We plan to increase the number of transcriptionists from the present level of around 3500 to over 10000 by end 2005."
CBay Systems is a leading provider of healthcare and business process outsourcing (BPO) services. It provides transcription and information management services to hospitals, healthcare facilities, medical clinics and physicians. Godrej Industries is one of the prime investors in CBay of USA.
CBay's revenue has grown at the rate of 75 per cent annually over the last five years and it has become the fastest-growing, nationally-recognised medical transcription company in the US.
Nadir Godrej, director, CBay Systems, USA, Adi Godrej of Godrej Group and. Donald L. "Skip" Conover, President, CBay Systems, USA were also present at the inaugural function.
