Videocon launches 2G voice calling tablet

Videocon Mobile Phones has launched a 2G voice calling-enabled budget tablet, Videocon VT 75C. The device is priced at Rs 6,499.
The product features include a vivid display laden 7-inch high-resolution screen, 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, Android 4.1 'Jelly Bean' Operating System, 2G voice calling with dedicated SIM slot, 3000 mAh battery, in-built 4GB memory storage expandable to 32 GB and HD playback among others.
It is being shipped with 'Facebook', 'Skype', 'Play Store', Diamond Twister, ET News and Movie Studio among others.
The Videocon VT 75C offers the consumers the amalgamation of a smartphone and tablet experience, both for voice calling and as a tablet.
''The time has arrived for hybrid devices to rule the telecommunications market, and hence we have developed the Videocon VT 75C calling tablet," says Khalid Zamir, head product planning and development, Videocon Mobile Phone.
He added the VT 75C calling tablet brings together the calling features of a smartphone with the entertainment features of a tablet thereby bringing the best of both the worlds to the discerning customer.
"Our continuous effort is to bring innovative products to the masses. and to enable the consumer to consolidate his or her many needs via a single 'smart' device,'' Zamir says.
