Vodafone India to recruit from leading institutes

Vodafone India will recruit from leading Indian educational institutes under its programme 'Discover Campus' and groom them for leadership roles across the company's operations.
Under the programme, the GSM operator will also offer new recruits job rotation across functions, states, countries, and tailor-made plans that suits each individual, coaching and mentoring amongst others.
Prospective recruits will undergo 12-18 months in a development programme based on 70:20:10 principle of development. Seventy-per cent of the development takes place through on the job learnings, 20 per cent through coaching and mentoring, and 10 per cent through classroom training.
For recruitment, Vodafone will visit more than 20 top-ranked B-schools and T-schools such as the IIMs, XLRI, MDI, SIBM, IIFT, JBIMS, SCMHRD, SP Jain, and FMS amongst others .
"This programme will ensure that employees feel valued and will go the extra mile to contribute to an organisation that has their development as priority," Ashok Ramchandran, Director - Human Resources, Vodafone India said.
Vodafone India employs more than 11,500 in the country.
