Vodafone launches 14.4 MBPS 3G dongle

GSM operator Vodafone India has launched a high speed 3G USB dongle with data transfer speeds of up to 14.4 MBPS. The dongle, Vodafone K3800, is priced at Rs1,750.
''At Vodafone, we always seek to provide the best products and services at great value for money, to our customers. The launch of Vodafone K3800 3G dongle is well timed to meet the demand for high speed mobile data services,'' said Vivek Mathur, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India.
''High speed of up to 14.4Mbps, affordable price and live webchat for support, will make high speed mobile internet accessible to a wider audience base,'' he added.
The new dongle supports all major operating systems such as the Windows 8, Mac, Linux, Fedora and Ubuntu. It also has a MicroSD card with expandable memory of up to 32 GB.
The K3800 3G dongle's opening page provides easy access to various services like e-mail and social networking site updates as well as ability to customise the settings and widgets.
Vodafone K3800 3G dongle - available in black, red and dual tone white and red – also offers multiple customised data plans to suit individual needs.
