The Capco acquisition, a British management and tech consultancy, for $1.45 billion in March 2021 is expected to contribute around 30 per cent to Wipro’s total revenues.
“Wipro signed an agreement to acquire Ampion on 1 April 2021, and we previously announced that it will be closed during Q1 FY22. However, certain regulatory approvals are still pending and the transaction is now expected to be closed in Q2 FY22,” Wipro said in a regulatory filing.
The Bengaluru-based company expects revenues from its IT services business to be in the range of $2,535 million to $2,583 million in the quarter ending 30 September 2021, a growth of 5 to 7 per cent.
