According to the CBI,Dayanidhi Maran had "forced" Chennai-based telecom promoter C Sivasankaran to sell stake in Aircel to Malaysian firm Maxis Group owned by Ananda Krishnan, while Kalanithi Maran's Sun Group had received "illegal gratification" totalling about Rs742 crore in the garb of premium on stake sale
