Tata group bid more than Rs5,000 crore over the Rs12,906 crore reserve price set by the government to acquire 100 per cent shares of Air India along with its shareholding in AIXL and AISATS, but excludes Air india’s non-core assets, including land and building, valued at Rs14,718 crore
