Idea launches pocket-friendly schemes for Delhi, NCR region

In its bid to push usage in the pre-paid segment, Idea Cellular today launched pocket-friendly daily packs aimed at its nearly 30 lakh subscribers in the Delhi and NCR region.
The three new packs, at a cost of Rs5 per day, offer 11 minutes of local and STD calls for free; 60 minutes of local Idea night calls for free; and 125 national / local SMS free everyday.
A daily GPRS pack, which offers up to 50MB of free internet usage for Rs5 daily was also launched. Other internet packs include Rs13 for usage up to 150MB, Rs98 for 2GB usage.
Part of the Aditya Birla Group, Idea Cellular Ltd is a GSM mobile service operator with over 70 million subscribers nation-wide.
