Idea expands 4G LTE services across 390 towns in Maharashtra, Goa

Idea Cellular, the country's third largest mobile operator, has expanded its 4G LTE services to cover 390 towns across 32 districts in Maharashtra & Goa.
The company's 4G services is now across Amravati, Aurangabad, Gondia, Kohlapur, Alibagh, Wardha, Vasco and Panjim. This is in addition to Nagpur and Ahmednagar where services were launched earlier this year.

We have always been committed to grow our network in the region and offer the best mobile experience to the people in deep interiors of the circle,'' said Rajendra Chourasia, Chief Operating Officer (Maharashtra & Goa) at Idea Cellular.
''We now have the largest 2G, 3G and 4G network with over 24,500 sites providing seamless mobile broadband experience across the length and breadth of Maharashtra & Goa,'' he added.
As the leading telecom operator in the market, Idea has focussed on investing in spectrum, expanding the network and enhancing customer service in Maharashtra & Goa. With a customer base of nearly 26 million, Idea Cellular is the largest mobile operator in the circle.
The company is offering a complimentary 4G SIM card upgrade, providing 4G pre- and post-paid services with prices starting as low as Rs49, and offering 1GB 4G free data, valid for 5 days.
At present, more than 8.9 million 4G devices across 10 circles are registered on Idea's network and growing at an exponential rate, while the company is also offering 4G devices (Dongles, 4G Mi-Fi and Home Wi-Fi).
