Aditya Birla Minacs opens facility in Philippines

Mumbai: Aditya Birla Nuvo, part of the Aditya Birla group, opened its subsidiary, Aditya Birla Minacs Worldwide (formerly TransWorks), in Manila, the Philippines. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo inaugurated the new facility.
This centre will expand the company's global footprint of offerings and add to the existing 30 delivery centers globally. The Philippines facility currently has about 200 employees providing inbound customer services to global clients.

We are delighted to be in the Philippines, and we value the support and encouragement we have received throughout the site selection and development process for this center and the other Aditya Birla group businesses that have been operating here," Sharad Junghare, COO, Asia of Aditya Birla Minacs, said.

We see tremendous opportunities in providing our customers with world-standard services and will be looking to grow our business rapidly. We have featured the Philippines option in several major client proposals in the last several months," he added.
