BSNL counters Jio, Vodafone and Airtel wit 2GB data per day and unlimited calls for Rs339

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has come out with a new plan offering 2GB of 3G data per day and unlimited calling within its network for Rs339.
BSNL said 2GB per day data plan for a monthly fee of Rs399 is one of the best in the industry and outweighs the discount offers from telecom majors like Reliance Jio, Vodafone and Airtel.
"The benefits customer will get under the Combo STV (special tariff voucher) of Rs.339 are unlimited calls in BSNL network and unlimited data with fair use policy of 2GB per day with validity of 28 days," BSNL said in a statement.
BSNL is also offering unlimited local or STD calls within its network.
While most operators are offering unlimited calls to any network, BSNL's Rs339 recharge pack limits it to 25 minutes per day. After 25 minutes, the calls to other networks will be charged at 25 paise per minute.
The offer is limited for 90 days.
Reliance Jio is offering 1GB of 4G data per day and unlimited calling to all network for free till 31 March.
From 1 April, Reliance Jio customers opting for Jio Prime service will get unlimited data and calls till 31 March 2018, for one time registration fee of Rs99 and Rs303 per month.

BSNL customers under the new scheme will also get 25 minutes of free call to other network every day and after that they will be charged 25 paisa for minute long phone call.
