Airtel launches Night Store for offers on prepaid mobile for internet usage

Telecom major Bharti Airtel has launched several unlimited-usage service packs, starting from Rs7, for prepaid customers.

''Bharti Airtel today introduced its Night Store - a first of its kind store that will enable customers to buy value-for-money offers on their prepaid mobile for internet usage and local calling at night, 12 midnight to 6am,'' the company said in a statement.

Access to Facebook has been made free during night hours, and users can activate this by dialing 129.

The night service, allows Airtel prepaid customers to make unlimited calls to local Airtel numbers for Rs7, unlimited 2G mobile internet for Rs8 as also a combination of the services for Rs15.

The company has also on offer 500 MB of 3G service for Rs29 and 1GB of 3G for Rs49 during night in service areas where it had 3G spectrum.

The offers are being made a few days after the  company cut benefits on mobile calls and internet under some schemes.

According to Trai data, Airtel led Indian mobile services market with over 20 crore customers.
