German luxury carmaker BMW launches variants of flagship BMW 7 Series

German luxury carmaker BMW yesterday launched new variants of its flagship brand BMW 7 Series at an event in Mumbai. The cars would be priced in the range of Rs92.9 lakh-Rs 1.73 crore (ex-showroom).
The latest models would be available in diesel and petrol variants at all BMW dealers across India with deliveries set to start from 1 May.
The BMW 730Ld would roll out of the company's plant in Chennai in a diesel variant, while other variants like the BMW 740Li, BMW 750Li and BMW 760Li would be imported as CBU (completely built-up units) in petrol variants.
"The new BMW 7 Series makes a compelling individual statement convincing you not only with its high-quality, exclusive character, but also with its functionality," BMW Group India president Philipp von Sahr said.
"For seven decades, the flagship from BMW has stunned the world through highest level of style and contemporary luxury with maximum driving dynamics. It represents the best we have to offer.
