BMW India confirms 2016 Mini Cooper Clubman to launch by end of the year

BMW India president Philipp von Sahr has confirmed that the 2016 Mini Cooper Clubman will be launched by the end of the year in India, oncars.in reported.
The confirmation comes after annual press conference of BMW in Munich, Germany.
The Mini Clubman is an elongated five-door wagon version of the regular Mini Cooper S and is the longest car manufactured by the German manufacturer.
The Mini Cooper Clubman is based on the UKL platform that underpins the other Mini vehicle and features a completely new front fascia, flanked by the new grille, redesigned headlamps and new front bumper.
The rear section has LED taillights and classic two-door boot lid and is being offered in three trims; Mini Cooper Clubman, Mini Cooper S Clubman and Cooper D Clubman.
The Clubman measures 4,253 mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,441mm in height.
