Mark Cleaver appointed India country manager for BT Asia Pacific

Mumbai: British Telecom (BT) has announced the appointment of Mark Cleaver as country manager for India within the company''s Asia Pacific operations, effective immediately. This is a newly created executive position, reporting to the president in Asia Pacific.
Graham Moore, president of BT Asia Pacific, said: "India is a critically important market for BT, and we are very pleased to have Mark, with his extensive international and India experience, join us to manage our operations there. He is an extremely commercial-minded manager with a strong international focus." In his role, Mark will manage all sales and operations for BT in India, based in company''s New Delhi office.
Cleaver joins BT from Cable & Wireless, where he held a number of senior positions including vice president customer operations within the enterprise markets division, and set up the company''s centre of excellence in Bangalore, India. Mark has extensive experience in the communications arena for enterprise accounts internationally having worked and lived in Singapore, Holland, Germany and the US.
Mark began his career at Sony Broadcast Limited and moved into a variety of roles including procurement, business planning and product management.
