Mumbai: Caritor, a total-technology solutions provider has announced the launch of its new products Certido Service Xcellence outsourced service delivery management solutions, its first product suite, providing, what the company claims, superior customer service at lower cost and efficient governance of outsourced service delivery operations.
Announcing the launch, Phani Nagarjuna, CMO and head of strategy, products and business development said, "Caritor has invested in products in the past and continues to develop new products, as it adds significant value to the overall Caritor value proposition.
"We see tremendous potential for improving delivery of services to the end user, especially IT services, which more often than not, are outsourced to external vendors, with strict guidelines in terms of the service level agreements (SLAs) but minimal ways to ensure their adherence and the overall delivery of business value," he added.
Caritor's first product initiative, 'influence software' was launched in 1996 and focused on delivering business intelligence solutions, prior to the product being acquired by Informatica in 1999 for an $80 million stock transaction.
Four divisions of a Fortune 500 organization use the product o ensure reliable delivery of outsourced IT services to its employees. Certido 'service xcellence' provides a multichannel service framework and allows IT organisations to track, measure and ensure adherence to pre-determined service level agreements.
