Dell unveils two new desktops for India

Dell India today unveiled in Delhi two new desktop computers, the XPS 8500 and the Vostro 470, both featuring Intel's latest Ivy Bridge processors.
The XPS 8500 is designed for users doing a lot of multimedia-oriented work like video editing, graphic designing, music composing, and for gaming enthusiasts as well. Buyers can customise the desktop with either the i5 or the i7 Intel quad-core processor along with graphic cards options from AMD Radeon and NVIDIA, both with 1 GB of video-RAM.
The XPS 8500 also features USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0 with wi-fi card and integrated 7.1 surround sound.
The Vostro 470 targets small and medium business segments, offering up to 2TB of storage and 12 GB of memory capacity along with expandability options.
The Windows 7 desktop also provides extra security features that support services like Dell ProSupport and DataSafe Online Backup. The Vostro 470 also comes with USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0, wi-fi card and Integrated 7.1 surround sound.
The XPS 8500 is priced starting Rs53,000 while the Vostro 470 starts at Rs44,900. The desktops are now available for sale on the Dell India website.
