GTL, Ericsson UK to market managed network infrastructure services in the UK

E business solutions provider GTL Ltd and global mobile systems leader Ericsson UK, today announced an alliance to jointly market managed network infrastructure services in the UK.
The alliance with GTL marks Ericsson UK's first ever partnership to offer managed network infrastructure services (MNIS) to network operators and service providers in the UK.
Ericsson and GTL will focus on the growing demand to provide managed infrastructure services for mobile operators, and also operate managed infrastructure and related equipment on behalf of customers.
Ericsson will integrate GTL's services in the pre-bid (request for proposal) stage and generate opportunities for managed infrastructure from its managed services activity in the UK market. Ericsson currently has comprehensive managed services contracts with tier-1 mobile operators in the UK.

Ericsson is the largest supplier of mobile systems in the world and supports all standards for wireless communication. The company provides total solutions from systems and applications to services and core technology for mobile handsets.
