GAIL CMD selected Fellow of World Academy of Productivity Science

Mumbai: Proshanto Banerjee, chairman and managing director of GAIL India Ltd, has been selected Fellow of the prestigious World Academy of Productivity Science.
The Canada-based academy represents the intellectual capital of the World Confederation of Productivity Science, and comprises of a distinguished group of persons who are committed to raise the standards of living of people across the globe through productivity enhancement. Banerjee will be formally inducted into the academy during a special ceremony on 9 October 2006 at the 14th World Productivity Congress being held in Shenyang, China.
The World Academy of Productivity Science acts as a trans-national forum for discussions on policy and infrastructure development, and also contributes significantly to the development of productivity science.
