UK travel site gives Google Glass to customers

Internet holiday bookings website holidaysplease.co.uk has become the first company in the world to offer Google Glass glasses to its customers.
The website has bought a number of pairs Google Glasses and will be offering them to a selection of customers who have reward points with Holidaysplease.
The aim will be for customers to use the glasses to take pictures and videos using the glasses while on holiday. They will then be posted on the Holidaysplease website.
The glasses will be returned after the holiday but the customer will be fee to use the glasses as much as possible during their holiday, but comply with a responsible use policy which includes not using the glasses to record nudity, content of a sexual nature, violence or other content likely to offend and respecting the privacy of others and not filming people so as to make them readily identifiable unless with their permission.
Holiday makers will be responsible for keeping the glasses safe at all times and ensuring travel insurance to cover any loss or damage.
Charles Duncombe, Holidaysplease's marketing director said, ''We think that provided the glasses are used responsibly they will prove to be a tremendous addition to your holiday experience."
He added, vacationers presented with the glasses,. "will be able to take photos / videos and even get live information on flight times, currency information, directions and translation services. I might even be able to use the glasses to sound like a local when travelling abroad. ''
