HCL ties up with Sanovi to offer DRM products

HCL Infosystems has tied up with Sanovi Technologies to offer disaster recovery mnanagement ( DRM) solutions in the country.
Sanovi's products and software would come as part of HCL's Systems Integration (SI) deployment for its customers.
According to a statement from Sanovi, HCL would open new business avenues for Sanovi products and solutions with its wide customer base in private and public sector and key government departments.
HCL Infosystems COO (enterprise business unit) Rajeev Asija said in the volatile business environment of the day, disaster recovery management solutions were imperative for the smooth functioning of an organisation's business.
Given the huge market opportunity for disaster recovery products in India, the two hoped to develop a strong presence in several verticals through the partnership.
The two would focus not on India alone, but would explore other markets and territories as well, according to the statement.
According to Sanovi Technologies president (global sales) Ashish Guha, the tie up would help the company enhance its presence across verticals including manufacturing, telecom, government, banking and retail.
He added that the government market was a key focus area for Sanovi and HCL was an established player in the space.
