Hero Honda launches limited edition bike for Commonwealth Games

Two-wheeler manufacturer and one of the Commonwealth Games 2010 sponsors, Hero Honda today rolled out a new bike, the 'Passion Pro Commonwealth Games Limited Edition' , to celebrate the games.
The bike, priced at Rs46,300, is designed as a collector's item in order to celebrate Hero Honda's association with the games.
Its design features an all-white body with sporty looks, dual-tone blue and green graphics, which are inspired by the colours of the games and a special Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010 insignia on its side cover.
Anil Dua, senior vice president, marketing and sales, Hero Honda Motors Ltd, said, ''To mark the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and to spread the flavour of sports amongst the youth, we are delighted to present the first of its kind limited edition Passion Pro.''
Hero Honda Passion was introduced by the manufacturer in 2001 and was refreshed as Passion Plus in 2003. Passion Pro with power start feature was launched in 2008.
Hero Honda had recently launched the new Super Splendor and Splendor Pro leading into the festive season.
The two-wheeler manufacturer is one of the largest corporate promoters of sports and sports persons in India, and was the title sponsor of the mens hockey world cup 2010 held in Delhi earlier this year.
It is also one of the partners of the Indian Premier League, a global partner of ICC, and hosts the Indian Open golf tournament. Hero Honda also took up the title sponsorship of the women's open golf recently.
