Hyundai launches online display campaign for iX35 model
07 Sep 2009
Car manufacturer Hyundai has launched an online display campaign for the iX35 model to be launched next year. The format of the ad is being tested in time for the launch.
Hyundai UK marketing director Andrew Cullis said the campaign, which is running across lifestyle sites including AOL, the BBC and Yahoo, would be monitored closely ahead of the iX35 launch next year.
The iX35 will be Hyundai Motor Company's all-new Tucson replacement.
To be known as 'ix35' in Australia and Europe, and 'Tucson ix' in South Korea, the compact sports utility vehicle has sweeping coupe-like lines, a premium vehicle feel and comes with many new features.
In August, Hyundai launched a campaign for its i30 model which was tested on social media.
The new ad is extremely creative and takes users through what their Hyundai car would look like in five years' time. The creative shows a car going through the years, with a background of changing seasons and landscapes as the car remains the same.
The campaign was created by digital agency Play.
The ix35 compact SUV will be displayed at the 2009 IAA in Frankfurt from 17 to 27 September. Full details about Australian specifications will be announced at the local launch in the first half of next year.
