Hyundai Motor India announces price hike

Hyundai Motor India today announced that it will increase the prices for its products by up to 1.2 per cent across all models.

Announcing the hike in prices, Arvind Saxena, director, marketing and sales, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, said, ''There has been an increase in the input costs for car manufacturers.

We have tried to absorb as much of the cost as we can, to cause as less inconvenience as possible to our valued customers.''

The change in prices will be effective since 1 September, 2010

Hyundai Motor India models in the country include Santro Xing, i10, i20, Accent, Verna and Sonata Transform.
