Two new Fujifilm digital cameras

Mumbai: Jindal Photo Films (JPFL), India’s largest manufacturer of photographic products, has launched Fujifilm Fine Pix 2800 Zoom and Fujifilm FinePix 30i, two highly-advanced digital cameras.

The latest offerings are easy to operate and are equipped with user-friendly electronic viewfinders. Both have movie functions with a 1.8-inch LCD monitor. Fine Pix 30i comes with a MP3 music playback and can record up to 160 minutes playback on 128MB Smart Media. It also has a PC camera mode for Internet conferencing. The two high-tech products carry a price tag of Rs 30,000 each.

JPFL will market the new digital cameras through its marketing and technical tie-up with Fujifilm Photo Film Company, Japan, a Fortune 500 company. It will be distributed across the country through Jindal Photo’s extensive distribution network

"The demand for digital cameras is estimated to be growing by 30 per cent per annum and we are all set to cater to the emerging market," says JPFL managing director Vimal Khemka. "We are in the process of reinforcing our existing product portfolio and we are confident that this will help us to increase our market share in this segment."

JPFL has a wide range of products and services for still photography, photo finishing and digital imaging, both in amateur and professional segments. Its prestigious product is the Frontier 350 Digital Minilab, an integrated system that combines Fujifilm’s advanced image-enhancement and digital processing technologies.

This state-of-the-art equipment has unfolded a new era in film processing and has opened a vast range of business opportunities that can now be explored. Equipped to automatically handle a wide range of film sizes, the Frontier 350’s advanced one-channel Fujifilm patented laser print system has an inbuilt automated system that determines film size and type to preset every process.

Also available are Fuji Image Service Center, Fujifilm Digital Imaging (FDi), Minilab-SFA 248, Fujicolor Crystal Film, Instax Camera, Chemicals, Paper, Fine Pix Printer NX 500, and the entire range of Fujifilm cameras. The other notable products JPFL distributes are: Fine Pix A101, Fine Pix A201, Fine Pix 2600 Zoom, Fine Pix 50I Fine Pix 4800 Zoom, Fine Pix 6800 Zoom, Fine Pix S1 Pro-SLR Type, Fine Pix 6900 along with the newly-launched Fine Pix 2800 and Fine Pix 30i.
